Tearing down the wall

I was having a hard time deciding what to do with the wall in the kitchen.  It was already a half wall so I didn't know if we should cut it in half or take it down.  It was not a load bearing wall so it just depended on what I wanted. 

 Here are pictures from before.  My best friend and her husband came over to help and decide what to do with the wall.  

So here it is one way.

And here it is after.  It was my girlfriend who decided just to tear it down.......best choice ever!  It changed the whole room.  

And we have to have a picture of our little helper!
